Our Mission: Rooted in Compassion, Grown with Purpose
At the age of 30, Hempstead Highway CEO Joshua Curry faced one of life’s most difficult chapters. After losing his beloved grandfather, he soon learned that his grandmother had been diagnosed with cancer. As her primary caregiver, Joshua spent the next year by her side, driving her to and from Houston’s MD Anderson Cancer Center for multiple treatments each week.
During this time, he came face-to-face with cancer’s many forms—meeting fellow patients, witnessing families navigate the emotional and physical strain, and gaining a deep understanding of the illness and its impact. He also discovered something powerful: the natural healing potential of hemp.
Inspired by what he learned, Joshua founded Hempstead Highway with a mission bigger than business—to make a difference in the lives of those fighting cancer.
